Uptown Charlotte
Uptown (that’s what we call “downtown” in Charlotte) has a lot to offer from great museums (Mint, Bechtler, Levine Museum of the New South, …) to the new Romare Bearden Park, the Carolina Panthers’ Bank of America Stadium and the Nascar Hall of Fame.
To get Uptown you can take bus 19 to the transportation center. Walk up Park South Dr to Fairway Rd and the bus stops across the street in front of American Burger at the top of every hour. Outbound, make sure you catch one of the #19 buses that goes via South Park CTC The fare is $2.20 each way.
